As a Powerbuilder / .NET developer, you are part of a young and dynamic development team that is responsible for supporting and adapting OV Web, a web application that manages all processes and assets related to public lighting. In addition to OV Web, the development team manages a number of other applications for which front and backend developments take place.
Job estimates have no secrets for you, you are able to support the product owner in dividing up the features to be developed. Working independently and in a team can be combined without any problems. You have a great sense of responsibility and always want to develop yourself, both professionally and personally. You take initiative, take action and tune in with the product owner if certain things are not clear.
Responsibilities / tasks: - you implement new functionalities in the existing code of OV Web in consultation with the product owner and the team - you are responsible for supporting & modifying web applications, this both within project, maintenance and incident operation - you work together with the team on the planning, the scope, the work estimates and the follow-up of the releases - you write tests (unit tests) and document your developments - you actively work on the knowledge assurance and knowledge transfer to your colleagues - you take into account development guidelines and internal IT standards - you meticulously apply the methods in the context of the change and release management process - you provide technical advice to the analyst or designer - you ensure correct evaluations of the technical feasibility of the requests.As a Powerbuilder / .NET developer, you are part of a young and dynamic development team that is responsible for supporting and adapting OV Web, a web application that manages all processes and assets related to public lighting. Demonstrable experience with Azure DevOps (MUST)
Demonstrable experience with powerbuilder (MUST)
Demonstrable training with certification or equivalent through experience in programming languages and environments in .NET (C#)
Demonstrable experience in the development of .NET based applications - senior 5 years
Demonstrable knowledge and experience of the Agile development methodology Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Unit Testing
Demonstrable knowledge and experience with relational databases ( e.g. Oracle, SQL, ...)
Demonstrable experience with Azure
