QA Test Engineer
Initial 6 month freelance contract + possible extension
Leuven, Belgium (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

The assignment
* Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for portal and CRM applications
* Develop and execute automated test scripts and test strategy.
* Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
* Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools- Jira/ADO
* Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
* Collaborate with other systems and teams to identify system impact and other team collaboration across other tools platforms (ex. SAP, Clarity etc.)
* Validate data integrity between portal and CRM systems
* Conduct API testing and backend validation where needed
* Ensure compatibility across browsers, devices, and environments
* Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and QA reporting
* Continuously improve QA processes and testing methodologies
Required knowledge and skills
* 4+ years of experience in QA/testing for web applications and CRM systems
* Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA lifecycle
* Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce)
* Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira & Azure Devops)
* Strong knowledge of SQL and API testing
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power Platform Administration.
* Knowledge of JavaScript, Vue, TypeScript, and RESTful API development.
* Proficiency in D365 solution management, security roles, and environment setup.
* Experience with event-driven architecture and message brokers such as Apache Kafka
* Solid understanding of database concepts, data flows, and system integrations.
Preferred Skills
* Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, and Vue.js.
* Understanding of Azure services, Azure DevOps, or CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
* Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Jest, Puppeteer, BrowserStack, Cypress, Selenium, Katalon)
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum environments
* Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
* ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus
* Experience leveraging AI to automate test cases
