As Head of Legal, you will be a trusted advisor to leadership, overseeing all legal affairs within the country and ensuring our organization operates ethically, compliantly, and strategically.

Legal Counsel & Strategic Advice
Provide expert legal guidance to leadership on a wide range of matters, including business transactions, contracts, regulatory compliance, litigation, and legislative developments.
Monitor and interpret new and evolving legislation, identifying business risks and opportunities arising from regulatory change.
Risk Management & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Implement and oversee ethics and compliance programs, ensuring awareness and adherence throughout the organization.
Contract & Commercial Law
Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts, ensuring alignment with legal, commercial, and strategic objectives.
Support business teams in structuring agreements that balance opportunity, compliance, and risk.
Litigation & Dispute Management
Manage legal disputes and litigation, either internally or in collaboration with external legal counsel.
Define legal strategy, monitor proceedings, and manage external legal spend.
Oversee legal aspects of corporate governance, ensuring compliance with corporate laws, internal policies, and governance frameworks.
Engage with industry associations on legal and compliance matters affecting the sector.
Act as a true business partner to leadership, business units, and support functions.
Legal Team Leadership & Succession
Lead, develop, and inspire the legal team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development.
Foster a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Master’s degree in Law
Significant experience in a law firm, with exposure to complex legal matters and high professional standards.
Proven experience as an in-house lawyer within a mid-sized to large enterprise, preferably a multinational or internationally active organization.
Strong expertise in labor and employment law, combined with solid knowledge of commercial law.
Demonstrated ability to advise senior leadership and influence strategic decisions.
Exposure to ESG, governance, or compliance reporting is a strong plus.
