Main Responsibilities:
You will be supporting a more Senior Project Manager with the following tasks:
1. Manage design and construction projects in either the public or private sector
2. Manage and direct (external) designers and consultants
3. Lead project meetings such as design reviews, cost reviews, kick-off meetings, progress meetings, and risk workshops
4. Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and reporting
5. Identify and manage project risks, implementing appropriate mitigation measures
6. Maintain open and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders, including stakeholders within the client organization
7. Manage and guide procurement and tender procedures, including the selection of contractors
8. Direct and assess contractors on scope, (additional) costs, planning, and HSSE performance
9. Ensure that all activities comply with applicable safety, quality, and operational requirements
10. Actively promote and uphold AECOM’s HSSE and ethical standards across all locations
11. Ensure safe delivery and compliance with HSSE requirements
12. Take ownership for Contract Management and internal/external KPIs
13. Ensure Delivery of scope in line with AECOM Contract
14. Support in drafting the Project Execution Plan and in Coordinating project’s stakeholders: management, client, designers, contractors, etc.
15. Information Management & Document Control
16. Update and issue risk register including mitigation measures
17. Review change orders and monthly invoicing from contractors
18. Report to the project manager
Functie-eisen
19. A completed degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
20. Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. French is a plus.
21. Valid Category B driving license.
22. Demonstrated experience managing complex projects.
23. A true team player with clear, effective, and goal-oriented communication skills.
24. Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project.
25. Willingness to travel regularly within the Benelux.
26. VCA certification or willingness to obtain it.
27. Fluent in Dutch and English
28. Technical background in Construction or knowledge in MEP is a plus
