You will work as part of a team of consultants based in Zaventem and work for customers who are mainly based in Belgium. Occasional travels abroad could be required depending on the ongoing projects. The scope of the job will include, but will not be limited to, the design, the implementation and the support of Network based solutions.
JOB DESCRIPTION
* Discover and test new solutions, components or features
* Participate in trainings and obtain the required certifications
* Build architectures and designs based on the customer requirements
* Perform audits and suggest improvements
* Provide technical product presentations and demonstrations
* Elaborate, implement and maintain customized solutions to meet customers’ needs
* Provide pre-sales technical support
* Keep up to date on new technologies, standards and evolutions
* Perform customer technical product training
* Resolve incidents and problems raised by the customer and escalate to providers if needed
* Participate in projects and coordinate activities
* Document the customer’s infrastructures and the implementation details
* Knowledge, skills and experience
Required
Solid working knowledge of Ethernet and network protocols such as TCP/IP, as well as the network core services ( DHCP, IPAM, DNS )
High experience in Layer 2 / Layer 3 technologies and with IP routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP
Strong experience in LAN and WLAN implementations
Experience in Intelligent Traffic Management solutions
Experience with Network Access Control solutions
Knowledge of Network Monitoring solutions
Desirable
Experience with HP, Aruba Networks, Extreme, Cisco
Skills in Services Performance Management technologies
Knowledge of Software-defined networking (SDN)
Experience with SPB
