You will work on:
As HR Manager, you will be responsible for the full HR scope of our production site in Raeren (B). You work closely together with the Plant Manager, managers, employees and social partners. Together with the HR Administrator, you will form the local HR team and contribute to a professional, pragmatic and people-oriented HR organization.
About the role
1. Responsible for the full HR operations of the Raeren site (200 employees).
2. Sparring partner for Plant Management and local managers.
3. Active role in employee and labour relations and consultation with social partners.
4. Combination of strategic HR topics and operational HR responsibilities.
5. Close collaboration with a local HR Administrator.
6. Part of the Benelux HR team of Hydro Extrusions.

Key responsibilities
10. Advise and support managers and employees on a broad range of HR topics (e.g. absenteeism, performance management, employee relations).
11. Maintain constructive employee and labour relations with unions and other social consultation bodies.
12. Ensure compliance with labour law, relevant regulations, internal policies and Hydro procedures.
13. Safeguard HR compliance in line with company values, local legislation and internal guidelines.
14. Coordinate recruitment activities and collaborate with external partners such as temporary employment and recruitment agencies.
15. Implement, coordinate and support HR processes and initiatives such as performance management, talent development, onboarding and employee engagement in line with Hydro guidelines.
16. Follow up on workforce planning, workforce topics and HR reports.
17. Support organizational changes and transformation initiatives within the plant.
18. Act as a visible and approachable HR contact on the production site.
What will make you succesfull?
Qualifications & Experience
19. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or equivalent.
20. Experience in a broad HR role, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
21. Experience with employee and labour relations and consultation with unions/social partners is a must.
22. Solid experience with Belgian labour law and general HR processes.
23. Experience with payroll or personnel administration is a plus.
24. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with different levels within the organization.
25. Good command of German and English is required. French is considered a strong plus.
