Our client, a primary supplier to multiple NATO frameworks, is seeking a qualified to support their database and BI infrastructure.Work Location: Braine-l'Alleud, BelgiumOn-site Requirement: 100% on-siteMandatory: Candidates must already hold a valid NATO Secret, EU Secret, or an equivalent national clearance level or higherContract Start Date: 16 February 2026Contract End Date: 31 December 2026Contract Duration: Various start dates across 2026The Database Administrator will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, performance, availability, and lifecycle management of database platforms and associated Business Intelligence (BI) technologies in both on-premises and cloud environments.Key responsibilitiesMonitoring database performance and implementing measures to ensure high availabilityDefining and executing backup, recovery, and upgrade strategiesManaging, patching, and upgrading BI technology stacks, including Oracle Analytics, OBIEE, ODI, WebLogic, Apache, and TomcatAutomating database administration tasks and maintaining lifecycle management of softwareSupporting both on-premises and cloud database environmentsSkills & experienceStrong knowledge of Oracle, MySQL Server, and/or PostgreSQL, with hands-on experience in at least twoUnderstanding of MySQL High Availability/Disaster Recovery solutionsExperience with Ords, Apache HTTP, and Tomcat administrationProficient in Linux/Unix and Microsoft Windows ServerKnowledge of advanced HA/DR architectures, server clustering, and virtual infrastructures
