We are actively looking for a Finance Manager in the region of Leuven (hybrid role). Our client is an international technology organization developing advanced digital platforms that support operational performance and connectivity across complex industries. Since its creation, the company has experienced strong international growth and now operates across several regions, with European activities managed from Belgium. To support the development of its European finance function, the company is currently looking for a Finance Manager who will play a key leadership role within the regional finance team. The Finance Manager will oversee the financial management of the European operations and act as a central point of coordination between regional activities and the global finance organization. This position requires a hands-on and strategic professional capable of managing accounting, compliance, and financial operations while also supporting business decisions in a fast-moving international environment. Based in Belgium, the role involves working closely with senior leadership and collaborating with teams located across multiple countries. Financial Leadership Lead and coordinate regional finance activities including accounting, tax compliance, treasury, and financial operations Provide guidance and structure to the local finance team while fostering a collaborative working environment Ensure alignment between regional processes and global financial policies Accounting & Financial Operations Supervise the monthly and yearly closing processes for European entities Ensure financial reporting complies with local statutory requirements and international accounting standards Support the preparation of consolidated financial information for headquarters Compliance & Audit Coordinate relationships with external auditors and advisors Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax requirements across the different jurisdictions where the company operates Cash Flow & Treasury Monitor liquidity and working capital across the European entities Manage relationships with banking partners and support treasury planning International Coordination Act as a key liaison between European finance teams and the global headquarters Support the implementation of financial processes and improvements across the region Experience Significant experience in finance or accounting within an international environment Exposure to multi-entity or multi-country financial operations Previous leadership or team coordination experience is considered an advantage Technical Skills Strong knowledge of local accounting regulations and financial reporting Familiarity with international accounting frameworks such as US GAAP is a plus Experience within global or matrix organizations is beneficial Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Professional certification (CPA, CA, or equivalent) is considered a strong asset Languages Fluent English is mandatory Knowledge of French or Dutch is considered an advantage in the local environment Soft Skills The ideal candidate demonstrates: Strong communication and interpersonal skills A proactive and solution-oriented mindset Curiosity and willingness to understand the broader business context Ability to provide constructive feedback and foster collaboration Leadership skills with the capacity to motivate and guide teams A pragmatic, hands-on approach combined with strategic thinking The company offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation packa...
