As a BI Consultant - Data Storytelling, you will bridge the gap between analytics and communication. You’ll help clients turn complex insights into clear, engaging, and actionable stories that drive impact. You’ll work at the intersection of data visualization, decision intelligence, and AI‑driven storytelling, helping organizations evolve from reporting to insight‑driven action.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner with clients to understand their data, decision‑making needs, and audience context.
2. Design and deliver interactive dashboards, data stories, and decision‑intelligence solutions using tools like Power BI, Copilot, and GenAI‑assisted reporting.
3. Translate analytical results into compelling narratives that guide strategic discussions and inspire decisions.
4. Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and AI specialists to ensure consistency across data products.
5. Apply best practices in data visualization, semantic modeling, and augmented BI.
6. Support the evolution of KPMG’s BIA capability toward “insights‑as‑a‑service,” integrating automation, alerts, and conversational interfaces.
7. Contribute to internal capability building - knowledge sharing, learning paths, and experimentation with emerging trends.

Skills & Qualifications
8. You have approximately 3–5 years of experience in consultancy.
9. Solid experience in Power BI or other visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Looker).
10. Proven ability to translate technical analyses into clear business messages or stories.
11. Knowledge of data modeling, storytelling frameworks, and UX principles is a plus.
12. Strong communication and presentation skills; written and visual.
13. Curiosity for AI-powered insights, natural language querying (e.g., Copilot), and decision intelligence tools.
14. Fluent in English & Dutch. French is a plus.
15. A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for bridging data and business context.
16. You confidently navigate AI topics and can communicate complex concepts to stakeholders, make ethically sound decisions, and adapt to evolving technologies.
