We're hiring an Operations Shift Manager to reinforce and support our Operations teams.
Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem & Steenokkerzeel, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. The company is a key player in the integrated CFM international MRO network. With more than 75 years of experience, and up to 20 international Part 145 certifications (EASA/ FAA/ CAAC/ .),Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is recognized as a worldwide center of expertise in the air transport industry. More than a 100 airlines, lessors, private aircraft operators and MRO partners have entrusted their engines to our company. We employ over 500 highly skilled, passionate and enthusiastic employees.
Your role:
* You are a natural leader, guiding and inspiring a multidisciplinary team to successfully deliver the production plan.
* You make things happen, turning weekly planning into a clear daily schedule and deploying the right people and resources to get the job done.
* As a coach and motivator, you ensure flawless execution, support your team's growth, and directly impact the success of our operations.
* In this role you report to the Operations Manager and Operations Director.
Jouw profiel
Your profile:
* You are both a leader and a team player, able to inspire while collaborating with others.
* You bring expertise, holding a Bachelor or Master in Electromechanics with 3-5 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment.
* You have strong people management skills and the drive to take on new challenges with confidence.
* You are analytical and resilient, thriving under pressure and keeping a sharp focus on deadlines.
* You are communicative and fluent in Dutch, French and English.
* You are flexible, ready to work in shifts (Monday to Friday: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm).
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Belgium, holding either an EU passport or a valid work & residence permit. Please note that we do not provide assistance with visa or permit applications.
