Senior Software Engineer
Tekst is on the lookout for a rockstar Software Engineer. At Tekst, our mission is to make AI work for the enterprise. What will you be doing?
* Mentor at all levels: provide constructive feedback, conduct code reviews, and offer technical guidance to junior engineers and peers
* Help with System Design: participate in designing and implementing systems, and optimize current ones for performance and cost efficiency
* Bring your best practices: champion software development standards, testing methodologies, and efficient development processes
* Strategic vision: participate in defining project roadmaps, contribute to risk assessment and execution, and ensure quality and on-time delivery
* Collaboration: work closely with cross-functional product teams to understand and translate requirements into solutions
What skills and experience do you need?
* At least 5 years of practical software engineering experience, preferably across companies at different stages
* Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Python, and SQL
* Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS)
* Deep experience in Node.js and TypeScript
* Deep knowledge of HTTP-based API consumption
* Deep system design experience with a focus on scalability and performance
* Proficiency in software development methodologies
* Excellent mentorship and communication skills
