CUSTOMS OFFICER
Your Responsibilities
As a Customs Officer, you are the key point of contact for everything related to customs and international trade:
* You set up company procedures in line with applicable customs and import/export legislation
* You manage and monitor all import and export administration and customs declarations
* You ensure smooth and timely import of raw materials and export of finished products
* You continuously improve processes and controls to increase competitiveness
* You build sustainable relationships with third partly logistics partners, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders
* You will work on logistic tasks such as the raw material administration
Who Are You?
You enjoy taking ownership and working in a structured way within a complex environment.
* You hold a higher education degree or have equivalent experience
* You enjoy working accurately with numbers
* Experience with customs legislation within and outside the EU is not need and can be learned on the job
* You have at least a basic understanding of the logistics chain and raw material flows
* Good knowledge of English, knowledge of other languages is a plus
