AISB-678 IT Transition and Assurance Manager
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio, Programme and Project Support
Provide administrative support to project boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings
Use recommended portfolio, programme and project control tools for planning, scheduling and tracking
Set up and maintain project documentation
Prepare, compile and distribute reports
Provide guidance on project management methods, tools, processes and best practices
Organisational Capability Development
Identify opportunities for improvement in skills, processes and technologies
Conduct maturity and performance assessments
Analyse organisational strengths and weaknessesPrioritise improvement initiatives and plan their implementation
Support teams in continuous improvement activities
IT Transition and Assurance
Contribute to the development of Service Transition strategies, plans and policies
Provide Transition Planning and Support guidance to programmes and projects
Ensure transition activities are planned and executed in a timely manner
Review and update project proposals to include transition planning and support activities
Support the Senior Transition and Assurance Manager in developing strategies and templates
Deputise for senior management when required
Candidate Profile
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least 2 years of post-graduate experience
Alternatively, a minimum of 6 years of progressive and relevant professional experience may compensate for the absence of a university degree
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in Service Management within a medium to large organisation
Extensive experience in Service Transition Management across multiple industries
Proven ability to advise on Service Management and Service Improvement practices
Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure
Experience in risk assessment and corrective action planning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including senior-level reporting
Experience working in an international environment, both civilian and/or military
Knowledge of NATO structures and responsibilities, including ACO and ACT
Certifications
ITIL Certification
PRINCE2 or equivalent Project Management certification
