I’m currently partnering with a trusted client based in Leuven to recruit a hands-on Senior Accountant who will play a key role in the companies financial management and accounting.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced in-house accountant who enjoys ownership, autonomy and working in an international environment.
The Role
You will become the main accounting specialist within the business, taking ownership of day-to-day accounting activities and supporting the continued growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day accounting operations
* Support and gradually take ownership of end-to-end (A-Z) accounting
* Prepare month-end and year-end closing activities
* Perform reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy
* Support VAT and statutory compliance
* Work closely with internal stakeholders across an international team
* Contribute to improving accounting processes as the company grows
You will work closely with an experienced finance leader who is happy to support further development on full A-Z responsibilities if needed.
Your Profile
We’re looking for a hands-on accountant who is eager to grow with the company long-term.
Ideal background:
* 5–10 years of accounting experience
* Solid knowledge of general ledger and financial accounting
* Experience working in an in-house/company environment
* Strong communication skills and proactive mindset
* Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
Languages
* English is essential (international team)
* Dutch is strongly preferred
* French + English can also be considered
