Your new role
As an IT Support Technician, you will be a key member of the Technology Services Group (TSG), providing essential technical support to internal users. You'll be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and contributing to the continuous improvement of IT services. This is a hands-on role that combines technical troubleshooting, user support, and system maintenance in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for IT support requests
Install, configure, and maintain software and operating systems
Troubleshoot and resolve Hardware and software issues
Maintain accurate records of IT assets, repairs, and support activities
Enforce IT policies and ensure compliance with internal standards
Manage user accounts and access rights
Coordinate off-site repairs with external vendors
Test and deploy new applications and system updates
Monitor data backups and perform recovery tests
Support and mentor junior IT staff
Lead training sessions for end users
Your profile
We're looking for a tech-savvy, service-oriented individual who enjoys solving problems and working in a team. You should be organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities with a calm and analytical mindset.
Qualifications and skills
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Fluent in English; minimal understanding of one of the local languages (FR or NL); additional languages are a plus
Experience in a technical support or customer service role, ideally in a corporate environment
Familiarity with remote support tools and IT service management systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Willingness to occasionally work outside regular hours when needed
