We have a requirement for an E&I Package Owner on a large scale project in Belgium.

Responsibilities
Safety
1. Actively promote compliance with the Construction Safety & Health Plan and Environmental Management plans.
2. Intervene directly if any unsafe situations or practices are observed.
3. Interact with and coache the workforce in the application of best safety practices.
4. First Priority is the Safety & Health of all persons working on or visiting the site.
5. Complete a minimum of five SOR’s and three SPA audits each week.
6. Participate in the weekly safety audits as require by the rota.
7. Participate in the weekly safety meeting.
8. In conjunction with the Construction Superintendent and EHS team, review contractors’ method statements, SPAs;
9. Permit applications and provide feedback to ensure all risks have been assessed and appropriate control measures have been put in place to execute the works safely.
10. Participate in weekly Safety/Co-ordination meetings.
11. Ensure work is coordinate with the commissioning team during the turnover phase.
Scope
12. Be fully familiar with the contract scope, technical documentation package, contract price details and fabrication/supply/construction programme.
Coordination
13. Monitor the day-to-day site activities of the Contractors, to ensure they complete their contracts in terms of safety, quality, schedule, cost and documentation. Be fully informed on planned activities, work methods and resources.
14. Run and minute the contractor weekly meeting. Review and reply where necessary to contractor weekly reports.
15. Participate in 4-week lookahead meeting and ensure contractors planned work is fully communicate and coordinated with others.
16. Work closely with other CMT personnel to ensure that interfaces between contractors (co-activity) is well coordinated and that all stakeholders are fully informed.
17. Participate in morning planning meeting at workface (‘Whiteboard meetings’).
18. Participate in the weekly Coordination Meeting.
Quality
19. Monitor the implementation of the Contractors’ Quality plan
20. Carry out daily inspections of the works to ensure the required standards are achieved
21. Witness any tests or inspections required under the Inspection and Test Plan.
22. Keep the CM & QA/QC manager informed on all quality matters
23. Advise QA/QC manager of any potential deviations from the IFC documentation and ensure that only approved changes are implemented.
24. Track and review all contractors’ technical RFI’s, submittals, purchases etc and refer to QA/QC manager or Field Engineering team for input / resolution / approvals.
25. Ensure First of Kind (FOK) register is in place and the FOK are approved
26. Ensure Sample List is in place and all required samples are approved
27. Complete a minimum of one specific inspection daily and record in the QIR report
28. Liaise with Construction Superintendent and material Controller on free-issue Equipment deliveries, receipt and inspections.
Qualifications
29. Bachelor degree educated or an exceptionally strong trades' background
30. Experience of lifescience projects esssential
31. Strong construction management and health and safety experience essential
32. Excellent reporting and communication skills
33. Good knowledge of Dutch and English
