IT Project Manager
We are looking for a IT Project manager to lead a compact, IT Strategy Office team composed exclusively of senior experts (15+ years experience each) operating with significant autonomy and influence across the organization.
Job descriptionLead a small team (3–4 people) of highly experienced IT strategists and architects.Deliver high-impact IT strategy and transformation initiatives across the organization.Work closely with senior leadership (CIO and IT executives) to support strategic decision making.Oversee the multi year IT strategy roadmap and key transversal initiatives.Operate in a fast-paced environment with short delivery timelines and executive visibility.
Your responsibilitiesLead or oversee the creation of strategy papers, target architectures, business cases, decision memos, risk assessments, and vendor evaluations.Cover enterprise IT topics such as cloud modernization, application simplification, AI adoption, cyber resilience, data strategy, and operating model redesign.Deliver high quality outputs within 1–4 weeks, including urgent executive requests within a few business days.Manage team priorities, backlog, and resource allocation.Run the weekly IT Strategy Board and prepare executive-level materials.Ensure alignment with business, architecture, and engineering teams.Act as initiative owner for architecture simplification and application lifecycle topics.Mentor senior team members and maintain a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Job requirementsMinimum 15+ years of experience in IT strategy, enterprise architecture, consulting, or senior technology leadership roles.Proven experience leading complex IT transformation initiatives (cloud, AI, application rationalization, cybersecurity, operating model redesign, digital transformation).Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex topics for executive audiences.Experience working with senior stakeholders such as CIOs and CTOs.Experience leading or mentoring senior professionals.Fluent in English plus Dutch or French.Architecture background, consulting experience, or financial services experience is a plus.
