A supporting officer
For a one-year fixed-term contract renewable full-time
Context :

The Hôpital Universitaire de Bruxelles (H.U.B.)- Hôpital Erasme is highly specialized in rare haematological disorders (RHD) on a regional, national and international level. In 2017, it was awarded as an European Reference Network (ERN) coordinator of the ERN-EuroBloodNet on rare Haematological diseases. ERNs are networks involving healthcare providers across Europe and have been launched and are supported by the European Commission. They aim to tackle complex or rare diseases and conditions that require highly specialized treatments and concentrated knowledge and resources:
The ERN EuroBloodNet project co-leader, Prof. Gulbis, is also the representative of the ERN at the H.U.B. in Belgium and the director of "Fonction maladies rares". Within the ERN, Prof. Gulbis is leading the Work Package 4 on "Healthcare and CPMS" and WP6 on "Training and Education".
Workplace will be situated at Institut Jules Bordet, Campus Erasme – 1070 Brussels. Remote work possible, in accordance with Prof. Gulbis, a few days per week.
In this context, we are looking for a Supporting Officer who will ensure the financial and administrative Management of the different European and National Projects Prof. Gulbis is involved in.
This position falls under the A valorization family in ULB's internal job mapping.
Essential missions :
1. Educational Activities Support :
2. Assist in the development and maintenance of the ERN-EuroBloodNet e-learning platform by ensuring smooth daily operations: uploading content, monitoring functionality, and supporting experts in coordinating educational programs.
3. Provide logistical and technical support for webinars aimed at health professionals and patients: schedule online meetings, help in the organization of sessions, liaise with speakers and experts across EU, open discussions, record sessions, and perform basic video editing for publication.
4. Support the organization of on-site training programs (preceptorships) for health professionals, including handling administrative tasks and assisting with accreditation processes for trainees.
5. Telemedicine Platform Support (CPMS) :
6. Supporting the helpdesk dedicated to ERN-EuroBloodNet members, providing timely responses and guidance, and contribute to regular reporting for continuous process improvement.
7. Assist in managing and developing expert groups: follow up on telemedicine-related actions, contribute to network activities, and support the creation and maintenance of virtual boards of experts.

9. Collaborate with the ERN Project Managers to ensure deadlines and milestones are met.

11. Provide assistance to the Brussels coordination team with administrative and budgetary tasks related to ongoing projects and activities
Profile :
* Hold a bachelor's degree in administration field management, executive secretarial work, human resources or an equivalent field recognized by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles (FWB).
* Candidates who hold a degree higher than a bachelor's will not be considered.
