We are looking for a Data Lead who is analytical, collaborative, and highly organized to join our Digital Transformation Team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine‑l’Alleud, Wallonia, Belgium.
About the role:
In this role, you are going to ensure that data across Patient Supply is accessible, reliable, and seamlessly integrated. You will manage the lifecycle of data integrations, support validation activities, and align system configurations with business priorities. You will work closely with data experts, IT teams, and business stakeholders to build a strong, future‑ready data environment. Your work will directly support UCB’s digital initiatives and strengthen the governance and quality of critical data assets.
Who you will work with:
You will collaborate with the Data Integration Lead, Data Architect, Data Governance Manager, Data Innovation Lead, IT teams, and business stakeholders across Patient Supply. You will act as a key connector between technical and business teams, ensuring that integration activities run smoothly, data standards are respected, and system validation meets regulatory expectations. You will be part of the Data Strategy Team, supporting digital transformation and enabling data‑driven decision‑making.
What you will do:
1. You will manage and prioritize business requests and oversee incident, change, and access tickets.
2. You will be responsible for ensuring procedures, documentation, and data integrations meet UCB data quality standards.
3. You will collaborate with Data Integration and Governance teams on changes impacting data rules and processes.
4. You will execute validation activities, test scripts, and ensure compliance of system configurations.
5. You will coordinate integration needs linked to new or upgraded systems across all departments involved.
6. You will support audits by providing validation evidence and ensuring adherence to data integrity requirements.
Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:
7. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; SQL, Power BI, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
8. 1–2 years of experience in data management and 1–2 years in practical programming.
9. 2–3 years of experience in the pharma or biopharma sector.
10. Strong knowledge of databases, ETL/ELT logic, SQL, data modeling, and data transformation.
11. Experience with tools such as Collibra, Power BI/Fabric, Snowflake, Oracle SQL, HPALM, and DMS.
12. Excellent communication skills, strong organization, autonomy, analytical thinking, and
