What you do
1. You develop new patterns and optimize existing designs for all markets in which Sioen is active, ranging from bulletproof vests to industrial protective clothing.
2. You translate complex, multi-layer constructions into precise digital patterns using Gerber AccuMark or similar CAD software.
3. You create product sheets in our PLM system, including sizes, checklists, zippers, Velcro, markers, logos, and photos, and generate mini-markers for costing and production preparation.
4. You calculate standards based on the patterns and proactively communicate these with the R&D, production, quality control, and sales departments.
5. You prepare sheets for outer dimensions for our international production sites and maintain daily contact with the decentralized CAD departments.
6. You contribute to building and maintaining a knowledge platform, archiving, documenting, and continuously improving pattern data.
Who you are
7. You have an affinity for textiles or fashion and enjoy working precisely and digitally; spatial awareness comes naturally to you.
8. A bachelor’s degree in Textile or Fashion Technology (or equivalent through experience) is a plus, but not required; we offer an intensive training program in collaboration with, among others, VDAB and Intrawest.
9. Experience with Gerber AccuMark, Lectra, Assyst, Optitex, or similar CAD software is a strong asset.
10. You are proficient in MS Office and communicate fluently in Dutch and/or English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
