Unifiber is a management company dedicated to the design, planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of a cutting-edge fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network across Wallonia. Founded in 2021 as a joint venture between Eurofiber and Proximus, Unifiber plays a key role in accelerating the region’s digital transition. Its objective is clear: to make 600,000 households and SMEs connectable to fibre by 2028, bringing ultra-fast, stable, and sustainable broadband to more than 60 cities and municipalities across Wallonia.
As a IT support engineer your primary responsibility is to manage our IT applications, our office IT and interfacing to our external partners.
The ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy individual with good communication skills, ready to handle a broad variety of IT tasks and assist our IT manager in daily operations and improvements.
Responsibilities:
* Act as the initial point of contact for IT-related queries
* Provide prompt assistance in diagnosing and resolving IT issues
* Manage accounts and access for employees and external partners
* Troubleshoot issues between internal- and external systems
* Collaborate on IT projects, such as the rollout of new applications and functionalities
* Support the implementation of cybersecurity measures
Competencies:
* Proven experience 3-5 years
* Fluent in French and English with good written and oral communication skills
* Quick learner, comfortable with modern tools
* Pleasant and patient communicator
* Computer science-oriented education or technical background
* Positive, problem-solving attitude
* Taking pro-active responsibility/ownership
