The Opportunity
ANKH Executive has been exclusively retained to appoint a Senior Solutions Consultant – Trade Finance Platforms for a leading global financial technology organisation.
This is a high-impact, client-facing presales role focused on delivering advanced digital trade finance solutions to leading financial institutions and large corporates across Europe and global markets.
You will operate at the intersection of sales, product, and client engagement, playing a pivotal role in shaping complex opportunities, influencing solution strategy, and positioning enterprise-grade platforms within sophisticated banking environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end presales activities across trade finance and transaction banking solutions
* Conduct detailed client discovery sessions to understand business, operational, and regulatory requirements
* Deliver high-impact product demonstrations and tailored solution presentations to senior stakeholders
* Design solution architectures aligned with client needs, including regulatory and regional considerations
* Support strategic RFP / RFQ responses for complex, enterprise-level opportunities
* Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle, engaging both business and technical stakeholders
* Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to develop and position winning solutions
* Contribute to go-to-market strategy, solution positioning, and opportunity development across the region
* Support long, complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles across Tier 1 and Tier 2 financial institutions
* Provide market feedback and client insights to influence product evolution and strategic direction
The Profile Sought
We are seeking a senior, client-facing presales professional with strong domain expertise in trade finance and transaction banking, and the ability to operate effectively across European markets.
Mandatory Requirements
* Fluency in both English and Spanish is required, with the ability to conduct client meetings, presentations, and commercial discussions in both languages
* Deep domain expertise in Trade Finance, with hands-on experience in trade finance platforms or solutions
Experience & Capabilities
* Approximately 15+ years of experience within trade finance, transaction banking, or financial technology
* Proven track record in solution consulting / presales within enterprise banking platforms
* Strong experience engaging with Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks or large multinational corporates
* Deep understanding of key trade finance instruments, including:
* Letters of Credit
* Bank Guarantees
* Supply Chain Finance
* Demonstrated ability to deliver structured product demonstrations, workshops, and RFP responses
* Experience positioning both on-premise and cloud-based / SaaS solutions
* Ability to operate within complex, matrixed, and multinational organisations
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to support and influence complex deal cycles
Additional Strengths
* Exposure to digital transformation initiatives within transaction banking
* Experience working across multiple European markets and regulatory environments
* Additional European language capabilities are advantageous
