We’re looking for an IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our Infrastructure Operations team. You’ll play a key role in keeping our Windows and Azure server environment stable, secure, and well-monitored, while supporting users and partners through complex incidents and changes. Exposure to Linux and/or OpenShift is a nice bonus.
Your mission
After onboarding, you’ll take ownership of Windows/Azure systems within a hybrid infrastructure landscape and contribute to operational excellence through strong troubleshooting, clean documentation, and smart automation.
What you’ll do
* Install, configure, and support Windows Server and Azure components
* Provide 3rd-line support and resolve incidents with root-cause analysis and lasting fixes
* Maintain system reliability through monitoring, tuning, patching, and upgrades
* Manage and troubleshoot DNS / DHCP requests and issues
* Handle firewall change requests and support network diagnostics with external partners
* Automate deployments and operational tasks (PowerShell, Ansible, Git/GitLab)
* Package and deploy Windows desktop software via Intune and SCCM
* Write and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and diagrams
* Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for incidents, changes, and escalations
Technical environment
Core (must-have):
* Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016–2019
* Active Directory, Azure AD, AAD Connect
* Azure IaaS/PaaS foundations
* PowerShell scripting
* Git / GitLab
* DNS/DHCP and basic networking concepts
Nice-to-have:
* Linux (Red Hat 8/9, CentOS 9)
* OpenShift 4.x
* Ansible, Bash
* Monitoring tools (Zabbix, Dynatrace)
* Jira, NetTerrain
* Firewall platforms (e.g., Fortigate)
Your profile
* 3+ years of hands-on experience in Windows and Azure systems
* Strong troubleshooting skills and structured incident follow-up
* Comfortable coordinating changes and small infrastructure projects
* Automation mindset: you enjoy making operations repeatable and efficient
* Clear communicator who can translate technical topics for non-technical users
* Team player with autonomy and respect for processes
* Certifications in Windows/Azure/OpenShift/Git/Ansible/Firewall tech are a plus
