Senior Content Strategist
A strategic leader responsible for driving content excellence across the product experience and customer ecosystem.
About the Role:
This pivotal role oversees Technical Writing and UX Writing teams, ensuring clear, consistent, and user-centered content. Reporting to the VP of Product Design, you will drive alignment on voice and tone across the product, innovate documentation creation, consumption, and discovery, and elevate content impact across the customer journey.
Main Responsibilities:
• Lead, grow, and mentor Technical Writing and UX Writing teams
• Develop a high-performing content team culture grounded in excellence, collaboration, and user empathy
• Define and execute a unified, scalable content strategy across product documentation and in-product experiences
• Establish consistent voice and tone guidelines across all customer-facing content
• Drive innovation in content delivery, including contextual help, interactive docs, embedded guidance, and multimedia formats
• Partner with Product Management, Design, and Engineering to ensure content enhances product usability and feature adoption
• Collaborate with Support, Training, and Product Marketing to align content strategies across documentation, knowledge base, enablement, and marketing materials
• Advocate for content as a core component of the end-to-end user journey
• Champion strategies for improving documentation findability, search relevance, and content personalization
• Utilize analytics and user feedback to continuously optimize content effectiveness and engagement
• Establish content governance models to manage quality, consistency, and lifecycle across teams
• Define and track success metrics for content strategy and team impact
• Apply strategic thinking to complex content ecosystems: Connect long-term vision with tactical execution across diverse content types, channels, and user needs
