Position
SAP IT Program Lead (Tech Lead)
We are looking for a SAP IT Program Lead to manage and lead SAP initiatives end to end across Latin America. This role is the main bridge between business and IT, responsible for driving SAP demand from intake through solution release, while ensuring operational efficiency, optimization, and alignment within a global SAP landscape. The position combines technical leadership, stakeholder management, and a strong consultative mindset, with deep exposure to SAP ECC, integrations, and regional localizations.
Role & Responsibilities
* Act as the primary IT point of contact for SAP-related requests from business users across Latin America (Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Peru, and Puerto Rico).
* Lead all phases of SAP initiatives, from demand intake to solution release, including operational support and optimization.
* Serve as the central coordination point for SAP technical support, IT methodologies, and procedures.
* Facilitate and resolve conflicts between local IT, global IT, and business stakeholders.
* Partner with IT Business Partners and Project Managers to define:
o Project strategy and prioritization
o Effort estimations
o Technical resource selection
* Act as the technical expert for existing custom SAP features within the global template.
* Estimate SAP projects to drive business value, ensuring optimized cost of ownership and clear project scope, proposals, and plans.
* Identify resource and capacity needs, support staffing justifications, and participate in selection processes.
* Lead, coach, and guide SAP consultants when applicable, promoting best practices.
* Ensure compliance with Quality Systems, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
* Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and continuous-improvement-oriented work environment.
Essential Qualifications
* Hands-on experience with SAP ECC in regional and/or global environments.
* Strong knowledge of integrations between ECC modules and external systems.
* Experience leading or coordinating SAP consultant teams.
* Proven ability to work with business and IT stakeholders in global, cross-cultural environments.
* Solid understanding of SAP business processes:
o Order-to-Cash
o Quote-to-Cash
o Sales Order Management
o Pricing, Billing, and Customer Service (SAP SD)
* Fluency in Spanish, English, and Portuguese (spoken and written).
* Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and documentation discipline.
Desirable Qualifications
* Experience with SAP Brazil Localization.
* Knowledge of Brazilian Tax Reform and its impact on SAP ERP.
* Experience with pricing solutions (Vistex is a plus).
* Functional knowledge of MM and FI.
* ABAP debugging experience.
* Experience working in regulated or quality-driven environments.
The position must be based in São Paulo, with availability for onsite work 1 day per week.
The engagement model for this position is legal entity (PJ).
