Storytelling lies at the heart of Tomorrowland's DNA. The fantasy worlds and themes of the festival, past and future, inspire the world-building, characters, and stories of fiction franchises that explore Tomorrowland's central ethos: Live Today, Love Tomorrow, Unite Forever.
The Tomorrowland Fiction department is responsible for the development and distribution of stories (books and screen) based on the Tomorrowland themes and worlds, as well as all commercial activities related to Fiction (card games, toys, and more). It is a fast-growing department within a unique creative company.
YOUR ROLE
As Sales Coordinator Fiction, you are the point of contact for all commercial activities within the Fiction team. You ensure that our fantasy worlds do not exist only on paper, but also find their way to fans worldwide. From books to licensing and merchandise: you make it possible.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* You coordinate/support sales and licensing projects (publishing, toys, licensing) and maintain an overview of all ongoing deals.
* You coordinate the purchase and sale of Tomorrowland books and monitor deadlines.
* You are the point of contact for suppliers in the production process of fiction products (books, comics) and monitor deadlines.
* You are the point of contact for trade fair organizers and organizers of fiction events.
* You ensure correct follow-up of invoicing, royalty reports, and sales data.
* You organize hospitality for Fiction guests during the festival and throughout the year.
* You handle general administrative tasks, such as travel and sample distribution.
* You carry out store checks at home and abroad.
MUST-HAVES
* You have initial similar experience in sales support or coordination.
* You possess strong administrative skills, a hands-on mentality, and think in solutions.
* You are fluent in Dutch and English; French and German are a plus.
* Excel holds no secrets for you and you have an eye for every detail.
* PowerPoint skills are a plus.
* You have an affinity with fiction storytelling, books, and creative concepts.
