EDGX is a fast-growing Belgian spacetech company defining the compute layer of the space economy. We transition satellites to intelligent infrastructure. Our mission is to develop the technologies that unlock computer services in space.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Marketing & Strategic Messaging – 30%

* Messaging (B2B & B2G):
You create highly technical content for engineers (Performance, Latency, SWaP-C)
AND
strategic content for high-level stakeholders (Sovereignty, Security, Future-proofing).
* Sales materials:
You are responsible for the "Sales Kit". You produce the Pitch Decks, One-Pagers, and Case Studies that the Sales team uses every day. You ensure our materials look world-class and credible.
* Value Proposition & Use Cases:
Collaborate internally and externally to translate our product specifications into clear customer benefits. You proactively initiate calls and meetings with customers, users, and partners to validate ROI models and use cases. You act as the bridge between the market and our engineering teams (system, software, data science).

2. Demand & Lead Generation – 40%

* Inbound & multichannel acquisition:
You own the website and social networks. Your goal is to turn visitors into leads by optimising the user journey and managing high-value downloads (White Papers, product specifications, etc.).
* Outbound:
In coordination with the Business Development & Sales team, you execute targeted outbound campaigns.
* Event preparation:
You coordinate outreach campaigns to support the Business Development & Sales to secure meetings for trade shows & conferences
* Smart Nurturing:
Sales cycles in Space are long. You design content sequences (newsletters, product updates, multimedia content, etc.) and organise and coordinate digital or physical events, demonstrations & workshops to keep EDGX "top of mind" with our prospects, partners and key decision-makers over time.
* Ecosystem engagement & strategic partnership:
Engage potential hardware/software partners and drive relationships that could lead to synergies, business or product collaborations.

3. Event & Brand Visibility – 30%

* Project orchestration:
Whether you do it yourself or brief freelancers/interns, you are responsible for the quality, deadline, and delivery of all brand and communication assets.
* Content Creation:
You manage the editorial line and calendar (LinkedIn, Blog). You supervise external contributors to produce regular, high-quality content.
* Public relations:
You act as the primary point of contact for the media. You draft press releases for company milestones (product launches, contracts, partnerships) and identify key journalists (Space, Tech, Defence) to secure coverage and interviews for the leadership team.
* Conferences & Booth Experience:
You define the message and the visual experience on the stand. You ensure we stand out from the competition.
* Budget & Planning:
You own the marketing budget, you plan, allocate and align with business development and corporate goals

What you'll be bringing

* Experience:
3-7+ years in B2B Marketing within a complex sector (Deeptech, Industry, Embedded Systems, SaaS), and ability to navigate B2G (Space Agencies, Ministries of Defence) as well.
* Business focus and revenue generation:
You view marketing as a revenue generator. You prioritise materials that help sell.
* Tech-Compatible:
You are comfortable working in a "Super Tech" culture. You aren't afraid to ask engineers questions to get the right information. You excel at simplifying complex technical concepts into clear, compelling value propositions for business and government leaders.
* Relation builder:
You have the confidence to pick up the phone or walk up to a prospect to seek direct market feedback and sharpen your strategy.
* Hands-on:
You are strategic, but you are also ready to update the CRM, fix a slide, or set up a roll-up banner when needed.
* Coordinator:
You know how to manage a budget and planning, pilot an intern, and brief freelancers effectively to multiply your output.
* Speaker ready:
Willingness to represent the company at conferences and events, including on stage or at workshops
* Languages:
English proficiency is mandatory. A second language (German, Dutch, French, etc.) is appreciated
