Datacenter Operations SpecialistThe Datacenter Project Manager is part of the Datacenter team. The role focuses on lifecycle management of datacenter, network, and hosting infrastructure, ensuring smooth upgrades and service improvements while minimizing disruption to end users.Role ResponsibilitiesAs Datacenter Project Manager, you are responsible for coordinating infrastructure replacement and improvement projects across remote sites and datacenter environments.Your responsibilities include:Managing remote hardware replacement projects involving:Network switches and routersNetwork circuits and appliancesNutanix platformsUPS systems and PDUsConducting impact and risk assessments to evaluate effects on end users and connected infrastructureOrganizing technical prerequisites such as power provisioning, network connectivity, and resource planningCoordinating communication with end users and infrastructure teamsManaging change processes in line with governance proceduresPreparing and maintaining project documentation and reportingProviding ad-hoc on-site support in data centers or technical rooms when requiredProfile & ExperienceMBO+ level education in IT or a technical disciplineMinimum 10 years of experience within data center, hosting, or telecommunications environmentsStrong understanding of IT infrastructure and structured cabling standardsHigh-level knowledge of servers, switches, firewalls, and related infrastructure equipmentFamiliarity with Windows and Linux server environments (preferred)Experience working with SOPs and technical specification documentsKnowledge of ISO and BS standards is an advantageAdditional Skills & AttributesStrong documentation and reporting skillsExperience with tools such as Cormant CableSolve and RF-Code Asset Manager is a plusGood working knowledge of Windows and MS OfficeFluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)Structured, flexible, and able to perform under pressureWilling to work outside standard hours when required (including occasional Saturdays)Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skillsPhysically capable of performing data center-related tasksProactive team player with a continuous improvement mindset
