Freelance Medior Business Analyst-Diegem onsite
Our client deals with a complex process that they are changing. The 'Users' have a lot of knowledge and experience. They have spent many years finalizing requirements for the new application.
The role is a hybrid role – it sits between the business and the IT providers. It requires a good understanding of both – the business processes (most important) old and new, the old application, and the new, incoming solution. It requires an awareness of the technology, especially to understand interfaces in a complex landscape, but not technicians – the role does not involve hands-on operational work
They need someone that can learn the processes / technicalities of the system quickly, to be able to support the business through testing / migration and go live. This person will need to build an understanding, quickly, and gain the trust and respect of the senior users.
We need curious, inquisitive people that will get up to speed quickly with the business processes, that will ask a lot of questions :
To understand the as-is (accepting they will never build the same mastery as the business team that have been in-situ for many years)
To understand, shape, help shape the to-be process
To help manage the change between the old and the
Profile:
experience in collecting requirements through interviews, meetings, workshops…
ability to describe existing and new Business processes with easy-to-read diagrams/flow charts
experience in formalizing the requirements with a BRS using the corporate templates
experience in writing test cases
experience in running/coordinating User Acceptance Testing and in providing progress reports
finance background is a plus
