This role strengthens a high-performance computing infrastructure team operating in a research-driven environment. The position focuses on managing and optimizing Linux-based infrastructure with strong emphasis on automation, virtualization, and monitoring within a DevOps-oriented setup. The work supports compute-intensive platforms used across multiple technical and research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and optimize IT infrastructure with focus on storage, virtualization, and monitoring
* Implement and maintain automation and configuration management for Linux-based servers
* Operate and optimize monitoring platforms to ensure system stability and performance
* Manage virtualized environments supporting compute-intensive workloads
* Perform performance testing, troubleshooting, and infrastructure setup
* Advise on scaling strategies and infrastructure tuning for optimal performance
What are we looking for?
* You have 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator managing and maintaining IT infrastructure
* You bring 3+ years of experience with automation and configuration management tools such as
Terraform
,
Quattor
, or
Puppet
* You have 2+ years of experience working with monitoring systems such as
Prometheus
* You have 1+ year of experience with virtualization platforms such as
OpenStack
or
OpenNebula
* You have hands-on experience managing Linux-based servers using
Red Hat

CentOS

Rocky Linux
, or
AlmaLinux
* You possess system-level expertise in at least one specialist domain such as
Linux/Unix

* You have experience working in an education or research environment
