Job Description:
Lead Functional Analyst
Coordinate analyses and guide stakeholders in decisions about the scope and functional limitations of applications and services in the context of complex and/or strategic programs in order to arrive at a solution that is approved by all stakeholders.
* Plan, execute and supervise scoping activities, define requirements and set priorities with customers.
* Obtaining and agreeing on requirements from a wide and diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Define and maintain a global and hierarchical overview of requirements for complex applications.
* Mapping complex application systems to make them understandable for the customer.
* Ensure consistency in the proposed solution.
* Coordinating the creation and integration of integrated business models.
* Take the lead in creating data models for complex business domains and ensure consistency between data models and the requirements of the various stakeholders.
Identify and manage the interdependencies between the different complex application components in order to achieve a coherent and complete whole that maximizes reuse and ergies. This includes:
* Performing systemic analyses and assessing the structural consequences of changes in the requirements for the entire information management system.
* Identifying and aligning impacts and dependencies with other applications using the same components (requires internal coordination within Smals and customer teams).
* Coordinating substantive activities between the various TO&P teams involved.
* Identify the different risks, analyze their impact and likelihood of occurrence and propose risk management solutions to the project manager and the client.
* Ensuring the generic characteristics of the functionalities to be developed with a view to ReUse and synergies.
Assisting the project manager in leading the team and coordinating the activities of the various employees involved in carrying out the functional design, in order to form an agile team that takes into account the problems to be solved and the changes to be made. This includes:
* Organizing the communication between the different development teams involved.
* Assisting the project leader in assigning tasks to the development teams based on capacity and schedule.
* Advising and guiding other employees on a regular basis on the various aspects of the functional analysis.
* Answering questions from the development teams (architects and developers).
* Documentation of the system (drafting/checking of technical files + user documents) and/or checks.
* Drawing up test strategies for complex systems.
* Coordinating the test teams to ensure global test coverage.
* Supervising test execution and validation of results.
* Report on analysis and testing activities, results, problems, and risks, including the work of others.
* Ensuring that the quality of the applications under his/her scope is guaranteed during development: quality of analyses, test coverage, documentation, presentation, training, etc.
* Detecting and reporting training needs to the project leader.
* Assisting the project leader in defining and assessing individual objectives.
* Coaching and training new employees in terms of business knowledge and knowledge of the project and the methodologies used
Actively assisting the project leader in the planning and monitoring of complex projects/applications involving multiple TO&P teams, to ensure that project objectives are met. This includes:
* Negotiate with stakeholders to manage competing priorities and conflicts.
* Drawing up and monitoring budgets in consultation with the manager and customers.
* Drawing up and monitoring schedules taking into account:
the assignment of assignments/tasks to employees

the proposed budgets
the quality
requirements - Monitoring the project (quality, process/evolution, costs: invoicing and imputations)
ensuring compliance with established quality standards and methodologies

monitor the budget and identify any budget overruns in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with the database administrator or the Data group to make decisions regarding the database, if necessary.
* Supervise the installation of the information system in the production environment.
* Coordinating activities with the departments of internal security, core systems & middleware and operations.
* Thanks to his expertise, he is consulted in decisions about whether or not to carry out a project.
