The Opportunity:
As Financial Controller, you will play a central role in supporting the finance function and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting across multiple entities.
Working closely with the Finance Manager and business leaders, you will help drive financial insight, operational efficiency, and reporting quality while contributing to the ongoing professionalisation of the finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinating monthly closing activities and ensuring accurate financial reporting
* Supporting consolidation activities across operational and holding entities
* Performing margin, variance, and profitability analyses
* Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
* Developing and improving reporting tools and dashboards in Power BI
* Supporting internal controls and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
* Coordinating audit processes and preparing annual accounts and corporate tax documentation
* Working closely with stakeholders across different business units to provide financial insight and support decision-making
* Contributing to digitalisation and finance process improvement initiatives
About You:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
* Minimum 5 years of experience in controlling or a similar finance role
* Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles
* Experience with budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and financial analysis
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI reporting
* Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
* Fluent in Dutch and English
* ERP experience, ideally Microsoft Business Central, is considered a plus
