On behalf of our highly regarded corporate banking client, we are looking for an experienced Luxembourg risk professional to play a key role supporting the Chief Risk Officer. The business offers a good working environment, autonomy and scope to make your mark across all areas of risk.
Responsibilities
Support the bank's continued risk forecasting, risk monitoring and risk control efforts across all areas, developing existing procedures
Consider the risk aspects of new commercial products
Draft risk assessment reports internally
Participate in periodic reports both internally and externally (e.g.: Pillar III, ICAAP, ICLAAP, stress tests etc., )
Ensure accurate risk reporting, (AnaCredit)
Help the team to consider new KRI, monitoring tools, methodologies by keeping up to date with market practice and developments
Ensure the business operates with due consideration of relevant risks through internal communication and training
Candidate Requirements
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in a similar role in a commercial / corporate bank with corporate and institutional client base
Great technical skills, with knowledge across credit risk, market risk, and operational risk
Prior Luxembourg based experience
Excellent knowledge of Luxembourg laws and regulations, especially CSSF circulars, the Basel regulations, ECB, etc.
Strong knowledge of risk management reporting, Anacredit, risk best practice, analytics and KRI
Fluency in English as this is an English speaking environment; French would also be an advantage
Good knowledge of international financial markets and products
Prior team management experience
