In this role, you work at the crossroads of procurement strategy, business partnering and contract management. You connect internal stakeholders, market expertise and suppliers to deliver optimal quality, timing and value across Indirect Spend. You strengthen a team that supports efficient services for IT, HR, Finance, Marketing & Communication, Real Estate and Legal.Your work location: Brussels
What will you do?
* contribute to the implementation of the mission, strategy and objectives of Procurement BeLux
* manage procurement requests in line with policy and service levels
* handle buyer and contract management files for IT, HR, Finance, Communication and Real Estate
* apply the strategic procurement process and translate internal needs into an appropriate procurement strategy
* negotiate and contract with a focus on value and risk reduction
* apply and communicate procurement policies, processes and governance
* use procurement methodologies and tools (supported by Procurement Excellence)
* collaborate with internal customers and act as their single point of contact (SPOC)
* report on procurement objectives and savings
* manage contracts throughout their full lifecycle and act as mediator when needed
* contribute to category and supplier management (SRM)
Jouw profiel
Do you see a match with your strengths?
* master's degree or equivalent experience
* at least 7 years of experience in indirect spend
* strong procurement knowledge: negotiations, contracting, financial and cost management, procurement law
* experience with procurement tools
* good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* good understanding of the activities of support functions
* strong communication and influencing skills
* spoken and written proficiency in at least two of the three languages: English, French, Dutch
