Responsibilities
Engage with the main contractor to provide design input during early engagement process
Oversee coordination process to transform design information into full installation drawings by BIM personnel ensuring specifications compliance and schedule priority
Assess sub‑contract and supplier tender returns for technical compliance with design intent specifications
Coordinate with the project planning department to ensure delivery ahead of schedule
Manage technical submittals and approvals
Manage the RFI process with the client and sub‑contractors
Manage material procurement using Engineering Materials Report (EMR), producing material take‑offs and identifying lead times and field need dates
Collaborate with project supervisors to ensure design, materials, manpower and schedule enable construction trades to deliver on time
Ensure works installed in accordance with project specifications and QA plan
Manage subcontractors and ensure adequate information flow for work progress
Promote new engineering practices and processes to enhance delivery time
Prepare and agree on project completion criteria and close‑out documents
Prepare sub‑contract and supplier tender packages with Project QS
Manage workpack process from development, implementation and handover
Manage BIM priorities (isometrics generation and release)
Develop forward‑looking indicators to ensure all project elements delivered per objectives
Other duties as assigned within scope
Essential Criteria
Minimum 10 years’ experience in mechanical engineering
Experience in construction operations
Experience with off‑site fabrication of modular pipe racks
Professional qualification in mechanical engineering
Professional certification
Travel required
Experience in a Proceed piping project
Desirable Criteria
Experience in the pharma sector
