Acoustic Engineer
Own acoustic measurement excellence and help drive data-driven productdevelopment.
You’ll ensure reliable and standardized acoustic measurements across our product portfolio while supporting product teams with structured testing and analysis. All yours. Ifyou'vemastered the fundamentals of acoustic measurement andyou'reready to push past the processes that slow real progress, this is where you do it.
The role
You step into ownership. You move fast and take responsibility for what you build. You focus on work that matters, not on noise that slows things down.
As a Junior Acoustic Engineer, you help ensure that acoustic measurements across Loop’s products are reliable, repeatable, and traceable. You support product development teams through structured testing, lab operations, and data analysis that enable confident design decisions and product validation.
What you’ll do (and what you don’t)
* You own the setup and execution of standardized acoustic measurements across development and validation activities
* You maintain and operate acoustic lab infrastructure, including measurement fixtures, artificial ears, head and torso simulators, microphones, amplifiers, and measurement interfaces.
* You execute measurements such as insertion loss, REAT, MIRE, frequency response, THD, Rub & Buzz, and POLQA using systems like SoundCheck
* You develop and maintain automated measurement sequences and advanced test setups to improve repeatability and efficiency
* You support cross-functional teams by analysing acoustic data and contributing to root cause investigations during product development
* You don’t wait for endless approvals
* You don’t hide behind processes
* You don’t cruise quietly in the background
How you’ll succeed
We look for people who think big, stay curious, andaren’tafraid to go all in to make things happen.
You’llsucceed by ensuring measurement reliability and repeatability, maintaininglab calibration traceability, and delivering clear acoustic insights that help teamsvalidatedesigns and solve acoustic challenges during development.
What you’ll bring
* You bring 1-5 years of experience in acoustic or electroacoustic measurement and testing
* Practical knowledge of acoustic measurement principles such as frequency response, distortion, insertion loss, Rub & Buzz, REAT, MIRE, and POLQA
* Experience with measurement systems such as SoundCheck, Klippel, CLIO, REW, ARTA, or similar tools
* Proficiency in Python, or equivalent tools for data analysis and visualization
* You work independently and know when to involve others
* You’re comfortable with change and ambiguity
* You know when work is ready to ship, and when it can evolve
* You want your work to matter, not just exist
Loop isn’t for everyone. We might not be a match if you:
* Wait for direction instead of taking initiative
* Mistake activity for impact
* Feel uneasy when things are still taking shape
* Prefer alignment meetings over decisions
Still listening?
Good. We are not looking for people to watch from the sidelines. Loopers step in, speak up and go for more. More firsts. More growth. More: “I can’t believe we did that.” If you are like that too, press that beautiful apply button andlet’stalk.
Why work at Loop
At Loop we cut through the noise, so the work that mattersactually lands. We go all in on impact, connection, and growth. Andyou’llfeel that the moment you walk in.You’llknow people across teams fast, becausecandoris care, wins are celebrated loudly, and fun is taken seriously.
And when you go all in at work, you also go all in on life. That’swhy we give you 32 vacation days, enough time to recharge, travel, or dive headfirst into whatever makes you happiest.
