We’re looking for a Senior Data Architect to lead the transformation from a legacy data warehouse to a modern, cloud-first platform.
This is a high-impact, strategic role where you’ll define the data vision, design scalable architectures, and guide a talented technical team without getting pulled into day-to-day coding.
You’ll bring deep expertise in data modelling and a strong grasp of cloud ecosystems (GCP experience is a big plus), ensuring solutions are robust, compliant, and future-ready.
You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, translating complex needs into clear data strategies, while keeping a sharp eye on cost optimisation and FinOps. Experience in regulated industries like pharma is key, as is the ability to balance innovation with governance.
What you’ll bring:
* Proven experience as a Senior Data Architect or similar leadership role
* Strong data modelling expertise and architecture design skills
* Track record of leading data warehouse modernisation initiatives
* Deep understanding of cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
* Ability to lead and mentor technical teams (no heavy coding required)
* Strong business acumen with FinOps awareness
* Experience in pharma or other regulated environments
* Dutch language skills are a bonus - not essential
