Shape the secure backbone of Belgium’s critical infrastructure
As an OT Network Architect, you define, govern and continuously evolve the Operational Technology (OT) network architecture that underpins our industrial and critical infrastructure. You act as a key authority within network governance, ensuring secure, compliant and future‑proof designs that align with business, operational and regulatory needs, including NIS2 requirements in Belgium.
What you’ll do
You design secure, resilient and scalable OT network architectures across industrial environments.
You translate operational, safety and cybersecurity requirements into clear, implementable network designs.
You define, document and enforce OT network standards, design principles and technical guardrails.
You review and approve architectures, manage exceptions and support risk acceptance processes.
You support OT, digitalisation and engineering projects throughout their full lifecycle with hands‑on guidance.
You ensure OT network designs comply with cybersecurity policies, IEC 62443 and NIS2 obligations.
What you bring
You hold a Master’s degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
You bring strong experience in industrial or enterprise network administration.
You have solid knowledge of firewalls, VLANs, IDS/IPS systems and network segmentation.
You are experienced with Cisco switches or similar technologies and are eager to deepen your NGFW expertise.
You understand OT network constraints, cybersecurity principles and IEC 62443 concepts such as Zones & Conduits.
You work in a structured, proactive way and communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
