Join the IBA Electronics team as an Embedded Software Engineer and put your skills to work on projects that truly make a difference!
You’ll develop innovative embedded solutions in C, integrated into our FPGA systems, leveraging processors such as NIOS II (Intel) and MicroBlaze (AMD).

Challenges we trust you with
1. Define, design, implement, verify, and maintain embedded software solutions for medical and industrial applications, based on system and software requirements.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electronics, FPGA experts, hardware) to integrate embedded software with FPGA solutions (NIOS II/V, MicroBlaze).
3. Ensure software quality through unit testing, troubleshooting, debugging, code reviews, and documentation.
4. Follow design processes, deliver on time, and support team members on embedded software topics.
5. Contribute to team development by mentoring juniors, guiding internships, and sharing knowledge.
What we value
6. Masters degree in software/computer science engineering (or equivalent knowledge proven by experience).
7. At least 10 to 15 years of experience in embedded software development (C/C++, Python and Java) in a regulated environment.
8. Familiar with NIOS II/V (Intel soft processor) and/or MircoBlaze (AMD FPGA soft processor).
9. You have a continuous improvement mindset
10. Experience/knowledge in functional safety
11. Able to work with validation engineers to debug issues (e.g. with oscilloscope, power supplies ...)
12. Fluent in English (mandatory) and French (nice to have)
13. You are willing to work as a team member in a multidisciplinary team (electronics, systems, mechanics, quality, etc.).
14. Familiar with ARM Microcontrollers and Microprocessors is a plus.
