Position


We are seeking a Product Business Development & Sales Engineer to drive growth in our space solutions portfolio, bridging the gap between technical expertise and commercial strategy. This role combines technical understanding of space systems for both the flight and ground segments with business development and sales execution. You will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, developing customer relationships, shaping product offerings, and closing deals.

Tasks and Responsibilities


Business Development & Sales

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in flight and ground segments for products and services offered by the company
* Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers, partners, and government agencies worldwide
* Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, proposal development, negotiations, and contract closure
* Develop strategic go-to-market (GTM) plans aligned with product roadmaps

Product & Market Strategy

* Serve as the voice of the customer, providing feedback to product management and engineering teams
* Analyse competitive landscape, emerging technologies, and regulatory trends in the space industry
* Contribute to pricing models, product positioning, and value propositions tailored to different market segments
* Support product demonstrations, trade shows, and technical presentations to stakeholders

Technical & Engineering Support

* Translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer value propositions
* Work with engineering teams to prepare technical proposals, statements of work, and system specifications
* Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
* Develop custom solutions by integrating customer requirements into standard product offerings


Skills and Experience

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline. MBA or business-related training is a plus.
* 3–7 years of experience in sales, business development, or technical product management within the space, aerospace, or defence sector.
* Strong knowledge of at least one space business domain: Earth observation, Space robotics or ground systems.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical sales cycles and negotiate high-value contracts.
* Excellent communication skills to engage both technical experts and executive stakeholders.
* International experience and familiarity with commercial markets with government procurement, ESA/NASA/DoD/European Commission frameworks being an advantage.
