Our innovative products and services, backed by a global dealer network, provide exceptional value that helps customers succeed. /p pAs a bData Scientist /b in the Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD), you will perform analytical tasks and initiatives on large volumes of data to support data‑driven business decisions and development. /p h3Additional Information /h3 ul libThis role is located in Grimbergen (Belgium) and does not offer relocation. /b /li libThis role is in dayshift, Monday – Friday. /b /li libThis role is 100% on‑site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules. /b /li libThis role requires up to 10% domestic or international travel. /b /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the development of data‑driven solutions that enhance dealer inventory management and improve customer service outcomes. /li liLead and support the collection, processing, and analysis of large, complex data sets, ensuring data is cleansed, structured, and ready for advanced analytics. /li liDevelop and maintain scalable data models to support high‑volume data processing and business decision‑making. /li liApply machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and text analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights and enhance data capabilities. /li liCollaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to define data analysis requirements, scope projects, and translate business problems into analytical solutions. /li liGenerate and present actionable insights to leadership using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to drive business decisions. /li liResearch and implement improvements to data models, algorithms, and analytical approaches to increase accuracy and effectiveness. /li liWork with modern data platforms and tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Snowflake, Azure, Dataiku) to manipulate and analyze large‑scale datasets. /li liPartner with internal teams to integrate signals from connected assets and apply predictive models to anticipate operational needs. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul libBusiness Statistics: /b Knowledge of statistical tools, processes, and practices to describe business results in measurable scales; ability to use statistical tools to assist in business decisions. /li libAccuracy and Attention to Detail: /b Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. /li libAnalytical Thinking: /b Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. /li libMachine Learning: /b Knowledge of principles, technologies, and algorithms of machine learning; ability to develop, implement and deliver related systems, products and services. /li libProgramming Languages: /b Knowledge of basic concepts and capabilities of programming; ability to use tools, techniques and platforms to write and modify code. /li libQuery and Database Access Tools: /b Knowledge of data management systems; ability to use, support and access facilities for searching, extracting and formatting data for further use. /li libRequirements Analysis: /b Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non‑functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liStrong problem‑solving mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment. /li liFoundational experience or exposure to programming languages such as Python and SQL. /li liFamiliarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and cloud/data platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake). /li liInterest in or exposure to supply chain, logistics, or operations analytics. /li liAbility to think beyond the tool—focusing on usability, impact, and the end user experience. /li liStrong curiosity and desire to continuously develop both technical and business acumen. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 pThrough it all, we are one team – creating and delivering world‑class components and solutions superior to the competition.
