About the role
We are seeking a leader for our manufacturing operations in Tielt, Belgium, overseeing 450 employees. The role focuses on delivering a sustainable, profitable business with world-class standards across all operational aspects.
Your responsibilities
Business:
* Own site strategy and chair the site leadership team
* Develop and manage operational and capital budgets for EPP and CMS areas
* Create and execute the Mid Term Plan aligned with site strategy
* Implement and deliver the site S&OP plan
* Participate as a member of the Works Committee
Safety, Environment, and KAITEKI:
* Own EHS within production areas
* Achieve KAITEKI vision 25/30 targets for the site and support EMEA-level plans
* Ensure compliance with legal and company EHS and environmental standards
* Serve on the Committee for Prevention, Safety, Health, and Environment
Manufacturing Excellence and Growth:
* Lead site strategy and team to realize MCAM vision
* Oversee MCAM Excellence program to deliver world-class performance, using KPIs
* Manage variable and fixed plant costs to target
* Participate in initiatives to enhance MCAM organization capabilities
People:
* Ensure the site has skilled, knowledgeable staff to meet current and future needs
* Work with HR to implement policies across operations
Your qualifications
* Degree in Industrial Engineering (Electronics and Mechanics or Process Engineering)
* Proven leadership in a multifunction environment
* Experience in managing high standards, team development, and plant operations
* Strong skills in setting standards, coaching, organization, thinking, and communication
* Ability to create a vision and lead change
* Fluent in English and Dutch
