As a Project Manager you will be responsible for overall project management for high end Simulator display solutions and will ensure project goals are met.
The Project Manager will develop the project plan, align budgets and expectations, define the risks, evaluate and drive execution strategy supported by a team of matter experts.
She/he will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders and have a broad impact on the core business performance of our company.
The Project Manager will be the point of contact (POC) for all customer interactions following order intake till full delivery and acceptance of our solutions.
Main accountabilities
* Initiates Project kick-off and with Customer and internal stakeholders
* Efficient at communicating internally/externally and aligning expectations
* Develop project plan including work breakdown structure
* Oversee resource budgets vs completion status
* Apply Risk Management principles
* manage diverse tasks, requirements, and commitments across functional teams
* Create and foster solid relationships with high demanding customers in a niche market
* Ability to assess overall business impact
* Manages scope and schedule with customer and able to support/negotiate scope changes
* Ensures project team is aware of committed scope and schedule needs.
* Ensures engineering and procurement are in sync with due dates and purchasing needs.
* Arranges customer meetings, supports all meetings as defined in the scope.
* Ensures all internal/external agreements are documented appropriately including tracking of action items and conclusions.
* Solid understanding of local procedures and PM methodologies.
* Reports on project status and related financials in a clear and concise manner
* Closes out project with post-delivery margin calculation and lessons Learned
* Travel 5-10%.
Profile
Education
* Technical masters degree
* PMP certification or committed to obtain short term
Experience
* Minimum 3-5 years relevant project management experience in a technical environment
Competencies
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Business Central.
* Fluent English
* Good communication skills.
