Essensium is an expanding product company that designs, produces, sells and provides service for Essensium real time Positioning System for forklifts (EPS), based on computer vision and AI technology (SafeTrack TM). We are looking for a Marketing Communications Manager with 4-5 years of experience to join our super nice international team, based in Leuven.
* Location and work mode: it is a full time hybrid role, based in Heverlee (next to IMEC tower). 2-3 days/week work from office, the rest is from home. Occasional travelling is required to trade shows, both local and international.
* Languages: English and Dutch are a must, French is nice to have
What you will do?
* You will integrate in an international scale-up type of environment. The major objective is to support the commercial success of both our Safetrack as well as PalletTrack product portfolio.
* This role involves creating offline & online marketing initiatives and campaigns such as tradeshow & customer event marketing, content marketing & digital campaigns, improving website performance, etc.
* You will support and track the company’s brand strategy and will ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals
* It's an operational role with feeling for strategic marketing/product marketing, and also involves tracking and reporting analytics on marketing & communications campaigns. Hence, this role is working closely with our international sales teams to generate and nurture leads.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Marketing communications support (offline):
> Initiate, organise events (both trade shows & customer events)
> Manage our collateral: new brochures, datasheets, price-list, etc.
* Write and publish a variety of content marketing materials to support brand visibility in the market and to boost commercial initiatives. This will include, amongst others, e-newsletters, video marketing, website copy & blogs, LinkedIn postings.
* Digital marketing campaigns:
> Initiate, develop and run digital campaigns like e-news, LI boost campaigns, employer brand actions, etc. (possibly in cooperation with 3rd party agency)
> Be the owner of social media channels like LI, YouTube, etc.
> Produce digital content & animations to generate demand for our solutions
* Product marketing support:
> Translate the available product information into communication tools and sales tools (data sheets, product presentations, short descriptors, etc.)
> Manage product launch campaigns and communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to product & sales team, and provide instructions for use or promotion.
> Keep track of the various marketing collateral & materials on Google Drive.
* Monitor analytics and create reports detailing the successes and/or failures of communications campaigns and strategies + Stay up to date on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communications plans & practices.
SKILLS & COMPETENCES:
* A degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
* 4+ years of experience in a versatile, coordinating communications or marketing role
* Excellent digital marketing skills (e.g. SEO, SEA, Google Analytics 4, web updates via WordPress CMS-tool)
* Knowledge of email marketing software such as Mailchimp and the interaction with the CRM software (Odoo CRM/PipeDrive in our case)
* Analytical mindset and ability to think critically re. communication & marketing initiatives
* Good writing skills (Dutch and English) and interpersonal communication skills to perform stakeholder management vis-à-vis sales, product management, etc.
* Superior time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Familiar with Google suite and ideally Canvas, Adobe or Photoshop to create visually compelling illustrations/videos.
