The project:
Our client in the banking sector, is seeking an experienced Regulatory Reporting Specialist to strengthen their team.
You will work within the Data & Analytics division, specifically in the Core Risk/ICM Data team.
The main objective of this position is to ensure the punctual or recurrent production of a series of granular regulatory reports, such as BEcris, Loan Data Tape, etc., while meeting the deadlines and quality expectations of regulators and complying with RDARR - BCBS239 regulations. You will be responsible for analyzing the needs related to regulatory reports and implementing the necessary actions with other contributors to obtain information, produce reports, and control their quality in collaboration with other stakeholders capable of validating the results.
The division consists of multidisciplinary teams including, among others, data engineers and data analysts.
The Regulatory Reporting Specialist is primarily a reference person in their field of knowledge and as such:
You monitor regulatory developments and analyze the needs related to regulatory reports. You implement the necessary actions to obtain the required information. You ensure the smooth running of monthly closings and produce granular regulatory reports, such as BEcris, Loan Data Tape, etc., in accordance with RDARR - BCBS239 requirements. You control the quality of reports in collaboration with other stakeholders and initiate corrective actions if necessary. You seek to strengthen and optimize controls. You work with various teams, such as Risk, Finance, and IT, to ensure that reports meet the expectations of regulators. You identify and resolve quality issues and ensure structural remediation. You initiate IT projects if necessary to make the required adjustments.

* You preferably have a master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, or several years of relevant experience in regulatory reporting.
* Knowledge of RDARR - BCBS239 regulations and experience with granular regulatory reports, such as BEcris, Loan Data Tape, etc.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Experience working in the field of regulatory risk, preferably in the financial sector.

* Bilingualism (Dutch/French).
* Experience in initiating and managing IT projects.
* Technical competence such as SQL or a more advanced programming language like Python.
* Experience working in an international environment.
