Next to its direct investments, Damier Group manages investments in real estate, PE funds, private companies and public equities.Job DescriptionDamier Group is looking for an Investment Manager at its Ghent office (on-site) to strengthen its team to assist and help drive sourcing, monitoring and execution of its direct investments. Additionally, the role will include assisting the CFO in administering various investments and the operations of the family office. The role in itself is diverse in terms of tasks on a day to day basis including occasional travel.QualificationsThe ideal candidate has 4-5+ years of investment banking or transaction services experience. Legal, private equity or CFO/finance manager experience are a plus. To be successful in the role, a candidate should be/have a(n):Able to assess portfolio company growth levers, synergies, and value-creation opportunities, working closely with management teamsSkilled at managing relationships with investors, advisors, and portfolio company executives, with clear and persuasive communicationAdvanced degree in finance, economics, or business (MBA, CFA, or equivalent are a plus)Strong command of accounting principles, financial modelling, valuation techniques (DCF, LBO, comparables), and performance metrics (IRR, MoM, TVPI, DPI)Aptitude for critical and creative thinking across the quantitative and qualitative spectrumAble to learn quickly with clear intellectual curiosity and self-motivationEntrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication skills and attention to detailAble to multi-task, prioritise and work both independently as within teamsRole on self employed basis with compensation package in line with industry standards dependent on relevant experience.
