We are seeking a skilled General Accounting Team Leader to manage our financial operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with experience in managing teams and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Job Responsibilities
The General Accounting Team Leader will be responsible for:
* Managing a team of three individuals to ensure accurate financial reporting
* Overseeing general, asset, and analytical accounting for Belgian companies and legal entities
* Contributing to the development of our operations and assisting in establishing new legal entities
* Planning, coordinating, and analyzing month-end closings according to Belgian GAAP standards
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments. They will also be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and have good knowledge of Belgian GAAP.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with a major in accounting or auditing. They will also have demonstrated experience in managing a team and possess a highly analytical and critical mindset.
