Job Description:
As an Associate Director, Technology Product Management (Belgium), you will govern the Belgium Product Management vision and strategy, aligned with the TAA Belgium and European priorities, ensuring all product delivery is part of the broader and long-term strategic plan aimed at achieving short and long-term revenue and profit targets.
You will be responsible for prioritizing product management activities within Belgium, including European assets, and establishing a clear governance model between product management and technology teams.
The Product Management team will focus on understanding the needs of the Tax Advisor/SME market.
Things you will be doing:
* Be a member of the Wolters Kluwer TAA Benelux leadership team.
* Formulate strategy for product/services, ensuring the roadmap supports Belgium’s business growth.
* Collaborate with global regions to leverage assets, share ideas, and align strategies for maximum client benefit.
* Develop processes for monetizing products and services.
* Work with sales and marketing to translate client strategies into deliverables that can be monetized.
* Manage projects to position products/services in new markets or segments.
* Oversee the release cycle for Belgium products, ensuring timely and quality releases.
* Analyze competitors’ products and identify differentiation opportunities.
* Foster an environment aligned with business strategy, innovation, customer focus, and employee engagement.
What you have done:
* Extensive SaaS experience required.
* Preferably experience in Accountancy/Practice and Tax or General Practice.
* Experience in managing people.
* Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and influencing skills.
* Proven leadership track record.
* Strategic and innovative thinking abilities.
* Ability to understand technical details and simplify messaging.
* Quick learner of market trends and drivers.
Your education and language skills:
* University degree required.
* Fluent in Dutch and English; French is desirable.
