Job Description
Our client, a global healthcare company, is looking for a Global Supply Chain Manager to lead complex, cross-functional projects focused on process improvement in areas such as planning, distribution, transportation, and quality release. This role requires involves strategic planning, logistics, inventory control, and risk management to optimize the supply chain performance.
This is a contractual position, working in the client's preferred EU timezone. The initial contract will go through the end of 2025. With the likelihood of an extension well into 2026.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide a consolidated overview of all ongoing projects across the Supply Chain Division, including international and drive KPI-based monthly review meetings with the Supply Chain Management Leadership Team
* Design and facilitate training programs across SCM to support adoption of analytical tools and products, to cultivate analytics and process improvement capabilities
* Prepare and deliver progress reports, proposals and documentation tailored to project teams, sponsors and key stakeholders
* Set clear project expectations, delegate tasks and manage deliverables across teams and stakeholders
* Collaborate with the Supply Chain Excellence team to implement best practices, tools, templates and policies
* Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as material shortages or disruptions
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as GDP and export compliance
Requirements
* Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP, and project management platforms, such as JIRA
* Project Management Expertise: proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with strong skills in planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
* Communication & Presentation Skills: skilled in developing clear, impactful reports, proposals, and presentations for diverse audiences including leadership teams
* Training & Change Management: experience designing and delivering training programs and driving adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working
* Analytical & Strategic Thinking: ability to understand complex data and business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and drive data-informed decision-making
* Deep understanding of distribution and logistics
Requirements
Proven experience in supply chain, procurement, or production planning, preferably within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing sectors. SAP knowledge is essential, particularly in planning and materials management modules. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis). Fluency in French is required due to international coordination with French-speaking regions. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
