CREDIT & COLLECTIONS MANAGER
Are you a senior legal professional responsible for contract review and managing a credit & collections team?
1. You are responsible for managing legal/financial risks, credit and collection for BAC Europe in the areas of accounts receivable, contracts and other receivables to drive improvements in payment and contractual terms.
2. As an expert point of contact for contract review, you advice management and the sales team on risk management with negotiating contractual terms, payment terms and payment instruments with customers, keeping in mind new trends and patterns to support competitiveness of BAC in the market place.
3. You review financial processes and operations to proactively address risks and initiate appropriate actions that reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and conversion capital.
4. You coach and manage an experienced team of 4 employees in the field of credit and collections in a high volume and complex environment driven by knowledge and practical experience.
5. You report directly to the Finance Director EMEIA and are part of the Senior Management team.
Profiel
Experienced with contract review and negotiations in an international commercial setting?
6. You have a Master in Law and/or Economics combined with a solid experience of at least 10 years in a similar function within an international environment.
7. You are familiar with contract review and negotiations in an international commercial setting.
8. You have a solution-oriented mindset. You do not limit yourself to strict risk analysis but are able to give concrete advice while you keep commercial opportunities in mind.
9. You are interested in international finance techniques and/or collection and payment methods and new trends in the market to support competitive strength.
10. You act as a real people manager who can bring out the best of his/her people within an often fast changing environment.
11. You demonstrate strong communicative, analytical and influencing skills. You master Dutch, English and preferably a third European language.
